Smithsonian Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) contract: 2012 Conceptualization and content creation for augmented reality layer, Smithsonian mobile app (still in use). Geolocated, clickable AR icons show local visitor-accessible libraries and archives, distant research centers and nationwide affiliates. Wall Street Journal reviewed the app and AR in "Best Apps For Visiting Museums.”

Invitation to create an AR app for the National Museum of African American History and Culture groundbreaking celebration in 2012, showing the museum on location before it was built. After onsite, independent research in the Netherlands, I felt this emerging technology wasn’t yet adequate for such an important and high-profile event and advised against it.
