Research into mobile location-aware technologies and testing. Identified methods available (beacons, wifi-fi fingerprinting, etc.), targeted vendors and coordinated in-situ testing. Submitted report, Smithsonian-wide presentation, discussions with NASM staff and the wider Smithsonian digital community as we worked to understand new technologies like beacons and depth sensors. I used a series of cartoons to convey these complex concepts.
